Gopikrishna Madhavan

Gopikrishna Madhavan is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in leading HR functions across various industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources at Shinhan Bank Canada since January 2020, Gopikrishna is responsible for managing the corporate HR strategy. Prior roles include Human Resources Business Partner at BMO Financial Group, where Gopikrishna collaborated with leaders during significant business transformations, and Human Resources Director at LSH Holding, overseeing HR for retail businesses during both contraction and expansion phases. Gopikrishna also held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Aditya Birla Group, managing HR for manufacturing plants in Canada and Sweden. Gopikrishna holds a Master's degree in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from XLRI, Jamshedpur, and completed the HR Connections Program at Sheridan College.
