Nobuaki Matsumoto

Nobuaki Matsumoto currently serves as Executive Officer of the Planning & Accounting Office at Shinto Paint Co., Ltd. since April 2024, overseeing planning, finance, accounting, and IT operations. Prior to this role, Nobuaki Matsumoto had a long tenure at Sumitomo Chemical from April 1989 to March 2024, where responsibilities included serving as General Manager of the Planning & Accounting Office, supporting Shinto Paint through a secondment. In addition to this, Nobuaki Matsumoto led the IT Innovation Department, focusing on business transformation and global cyber security standards. Previous positions included general management roles in administration, managerial accounting, and coordination across various sectors, alongside responsibilities in business restructuring and project financial modeling. Nobuaki Matsumoto holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Kyoto University, obtained in 1989.
