Kari Hanson

Kari Hanson has extensive work experience in regulatory affairs, particularly in the CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) field. Kari started their career at Pfizer as an Associate Scientist in 2000 and later transitioned to a role in Global Manufacturing Compliance. In 2007, Kari joined BMS as a GRS CSI Manager before moving to Glenmark Generics Inc. USA as part of their US Regulatory Affairs team in 2008. Kari then joined Shionogi Inc in 2010 and held roles such as Sr. Manager and Associate Director in Regulatory Affairs CMC. In 2014, Kari became the Director of Regulatory Affairs CMC at Shionogi USA, Inc. Throughout their career, Kari has demonstrated their expertise and knowledge in regulatory affairs and has progressively taken on more responsibilities and leadership roles.

Kari Hanson pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with minors in Biology and Math from the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1993 to 1998. Kari then went on to complete their Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from the same university from 1998 to 2000.
