Nalinikanth Penumala

Nalinikanth Penumala has extensive work experience in data management within the pharmaceutical and clinical research industries. Nalinikanth began their career in 2008 as a Research Assistant at UK Biobank, where they collected and recorded medical data from volunteers. In 2010, they joined Arete Clinical Research Pvt. Ltd. as a Clinical Research Coordinator, where they acted as a liaison between sponsors and investigators and ensured the proper conduct of trials. Later in the same year, they transitioned to Quintiles Phase One Clinical Trials as a Research Associate and contributed to the compilation and organization of protocols and clinical study reports. From 2010 to 2016, Nalinikanth worked at Quintiles as a Senior Clinical Data Manager and Senior Data Operations Coordinator, responsible for various data management tasks throughout the lifecycle of clinical trials, including the design and approval of CRFs and data management plans. In 2016, they joined Alpha Clinical Systems Inc. as a Senior Clinical Data Analyst, where they were accountable for CRF design and system customization. Since 2016, Nalinikanth has been working at Shionogi Inc., starting as a Senior Clinical Data Manager and progressing to Principal Data Manager and then Senior Manager/Senior Principal Data Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Data Management, overseeing and coordinating all data management activities and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Nalinikanth Penumala's education history includes a Master of Research degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Glasgow, which was obtained from 2006-2007.
