Omar Richardson

Omar Richardson has extensive work experience in compliance and legal roles. Omar currently holds the position of Senior Director of Compliance at Shionogi Inc. since July 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Compliance Officer at Grünenthal Group from August 2020 to March 2023. From April 2016 to August 2020, they worked at Indivior Inc. as a Director of Corporate Compliance. Before that, they were a Manager of Compliance, Global Anti-Corruption at American Express from April 2015 to April 2016. Omar also worked as a Corporate Compliance Associate at Taro Pharmaceuticals from September 2012 to April 2015. Omar started their career as a Paralegal at Pfizer from October 2007 to September 2012 and prior to that, they worked as a Paralegal at Dreier LLP from 2002 to 2007.

Omar Richardson completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at Duquesne University from 1998 to 2002. Later, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Virginia Commonwealth University - School of Business.
