Michelle Ong

Michelle Ong has a significant amount of experience in the field of human resources. Their most recent position was as the Head of HR for APAC&ISC at Shipco Transport, a role they have held since May 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Human Resources APAC-MEA at voestalpine Böhler Welding Asia Pacific from April 2015 to May 2019. Michelle also worked as the Regional HR Manager at Vallourec/Serimax from October 2012 to April 2015, and as the HR Manager at Emerson Network Power (Singapore) Pte Ltd from April 2011 to October 2012. Earlier in their career, Michelle held various HR roles at Huawei International Pte Ltd, Equiptest Technologies Pte Ltd, and other organizations. Overall, they have extensive experience in HR management and has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout their career.

Michelle Ong holds an Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (Adult Educator) from the National Institute of Adult Education. Michelle also has a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of London, with a focus on Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration.
