Eugene Hubbard

Eugene Hubbard has a diverse background in engineering and technical consulting, with over four decades of experience primarily in the aerospace sector. Currently serving as a Consultant at Shipley Associates since March 2013, Eugene specializes in leading technical proposals and helping clients articulate their stories in competitive situations. Prior roles include Principal Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin IS&GS, where Eugene focused on distributed computing and Scrum methodologies, and a Member of Technical Staff at Titan Corporation, specializing in SATCOM systems engineering. Additional experience includes a postdoctoral position at the Center for Astrophysics and Space Science, where Eugene conducted research on quasar emission line ratios, as well as contributions as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Arizona. Eugene holds a Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Arizona and a B.S. in Astrophysics from Michigan State University.
