Hikaru Mahata

Hikaru Mahata has worked in the Sales & Marketing and Business Development fields since 2011. Hikaru began their career at IBM in 2011 as a Sales Representative. In 2017, they were promoted to Business Development (Watson & Cloud Platform), where they were responsible for business development of Watson (AI), Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), IoT, and Blockchain, as well as business development of partner ecosystems. In 2020, they joined Shippio as Manager, Sales & Marketing and Sales Planning.

Hikaru Mahata obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Diversity Management from Waseda University between 2007 and 2011. Mahata has also obtained several certifications, including Enterprise Design Thinking - Team Essentials for AI and Enterprise Design Thinking Co-Creator from IBM in February 2020, IBM Blockchain Essentials in April 2018, and Cloud & Cognitive Patterns from IBM in September 2017.
