Praful Poddar

Praful Poddar has an extensive work experience history, with their most recent position being the Chief Product Officer at Shiprocket since April 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Vice President of Product Management at Shiprocket from March 2021 to June 2023.

Before joining Shiprocket, Praful worked at OLX Group, where they served as the Director of Product Management from August 2019 to March 2021. Praful also held the position of Head of Product at OLX, where they led key experiences for the marketplace, serving millions of active users across various countries. Additionally, they worked as the Global Product Owner and Senior Product Manager during their tenure at OLX.

Praful Poddar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Instrumentation & Control from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology in 2007. Praful then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, which they completed in 2010. In 2009, they also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in International Business from Jönköping International Business School. Praful Poddar has obtained additional certifications, including an Advanced Product Management certification from the Institute of Product Leadership in April 2018 and a Do Agile - Be Agile certification from Xebia India in 2016.
