Grace Yu

Grace Yu has a wealth of experience in a variety of roles. Grace began their career in 2014 as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at Jordan Center for Early Education. In 2015, they held roles as a Student Teacher at both Griffith Elementary School and Crockett Elementary School, as well as a Special Education Teacher Assistant at Red Mountain Center for Early Education. Grace then moved to American Lung Association in 2016, where they served as an Asthma Camp Program Coordinator. That same year, they were a Public Ally at Public Allies. In 2016, they were a Mentor (Homeless: Pregnancy) at Maggie's Place, where they established and maintained a loving and caring atmosphere in the house with the infants, mothers, staff members, and volunteers. Grace also organized the resource binder including information for job training, college education, and transportation requirements, as well as assisted the donation coordinator in recording the donations and placing them in order within limited space. In 2017, they became a FACT Facilitator at Child & Family Support Services, Inc. Most recently, they have been a Business Development Manager and Administrative Assistant at ShipSaving since 2019.

Grace Yu attended Arizona State University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Education.
