Shipstones Beer company is relaunching old historic brands first in Nottingham and then when established in other key cities of the UK. Local brands like Shipstones were gobbled up into bigger companies purchasing pub estates and then the fate was sealed as with so many. Breweries were closed, brands were lost and the Great British Beer consolidation now sits in the hands of 4 big brewers non of whom are British (Dutch, Danish, Belgium/Brazillian, American). 

The tide is turning and the great british beer revival is happening and I feel its the right time to bring back those that were lost, bring back local and bring back our heritage in hand crafted cask conditioned beers.
