Alex Coburn

Alex Coburn currently serves as the Director of Central Operations (Market Optimization) at Shipt, leading strategy and operations functions. With experience as an advisor to various startups since 2021, Alex previously held the role of Head of Expansion & Operations Strategy at Getir, where the launch of new markets was overseen. Prior experience includes positions at Uber, where responsibilities included launching and scaling new business lines globally, as well as managing U.S. city operations in the mobility sector. Earlier career roles include work as a Summer Associate at Analysis Group and an analyst at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Alex holds an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a B.A. in Public Policy from the University of Michigan.
