Jess Beattie

Jess Beattie is a skilled professional with diverse experience in outdoor recreation, hospitality, and research. Currently serving as a Driver Support Technician at Veho since July 2021, Jess previously worked as a Lead Bartender at Fogcutter Bar & Restaurant, where responsibilities included bartending and managing a high-occupancy environment. Experience as a River Rafting Lead Guide & Naturalist with Alaska Mountain Guides involved leading tours and engaging with clients in outdoor settings. Other roles include Snowboard Instructor at Sugar Bowl Resort, Food Server at Ricciutis Kitchen, and Research Assistant at the University of Maryland. Jess holds a B.S. in Ecology & Evolution from the University of Maryland and has contributed to vital research as a Seasonal Biological Technician for the U.S. Geological Survey.
