David Phillips

David Phillips has a strong background in the craft beverage industry and tourism. David is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Shipyard Brewing Company. Prior to that, they were a Co-Owner of Brews Cruise, Inc., which offers craft beverage tours in various cities across the United States. David also worked as the Director of Dave's Travel Group, where they managed tour operators in Sydney and surrounding areas. In addition, David has experience as a Principal at PicoNet Consulting, a Festival Director for Sydney Beer Week, the Managing Director of the Institute of Beer, and the Owner of Dave's Brewery Tours, Dave's Events, and Dave's Pub Walks. Through these roles, they have demonstrated their passion for promoting and showcasing local craft beer and providing memorable experiences for tourists.

David Phillips completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Australian Institute of Business in 2013-2014. Prior to that, in 2007, they received a Diploma of Management from the Australian Institute of Management. In 2006, they also completed a program called Leadership Essentials from the same institute.
