David Hurley

David Hurley, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, currently serves as a Senior Physical Therapist at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab since September 2024. Prior experience includes physical therapy roles at RUSH Physical Therapy from September 2018 to December 2024, and at NovaCare Rehabilitation from September 2018 to December 2020. David has also worked as a physical therapist in various capacities during the COVID-19 pandemic at Select Specialty Hospital and at Body Gears Physical Therapy. Former training includes a student physical therapist position at UI Health and a research assistant role at Michigan State University. David holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine and a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University. David has contributed to DePaul Athletics as a Team Physical Therapist and served on residency faculty, highlighting a commitment to mentorship and education in the physical therapy field.
