Pavan Kalyan Kota

Pavan Kalyan Kota is an Assistant Manager in R&D at Shivalik Bimetal Controls Ltd. since March 2023, focusing on reliability, bimetal thermostats, and optimization of alloy chemistry for enhanced electrical properties. Previously, Pavan worked at AMRITA VISHWA VIDYAPEETHAM as a Junior Research Fellow, contributing to the development and demonstration of high-performance sintered brake pads for wind turbine applications from February 2018 to February 2023, and also on braze joints between Carbon-Carbon composites and Titanium Alloy Ti6Al4V. Earlier experience includes a role as a Post Graduate Trainee at ARCI from November 2016 to January 2018, where Pavan was involved in a project on Al-Steel laser weld-brazing for automotive applications, and an internship with the Defence Research and Development Organisation from July 2015 to June 2016. Pavan holds a Master of Technology in Manufacturing Engineering and Technology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Malla Reddy Engineering College.
