Prior to this role, Elizabeth served as the Deputy Chair and Non-Executive Director at Juno, a organization supporting women and gender diverse individuals experiencing homelessness or family violence. Elizabeth also held the position of Chief People Officer at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. With a background in Human Resources and Industrial Relations, Elizabeth has also worked in various HR roles at companies such as University of Melbourne, Clayton Utz, Superpartners, Medicare Australia, and Mercer.
