Jacob Reimers

Jacob Reimers is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in various engineering roles. Currently serving as the Owner and Operator of Lowcountry Current since November 2023, Reimers also holds a position at SHL Medical starting in September 2023. Prior experience includes a tenure at Thorne HealthTech from June 2019 to September 2023, where responsibilities ranged from Lead Engineer overseeing multi-disciplinary teams in FDA-regulated environments to Project Design Engineer III managing system designs for nutraceutical manufacturing. Earlier roles include multi-craft maintenance technician at Volvo Car USA and lead electrician positions at Metro Electric Co. and Feyen Zylstra, where significant projects included a major facility expansion at Showa Denko Carbon. Reimers holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Citadel and an Associate of Science from Trident Technical College.
