Sheri Woo, PE has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and industries. Sheri started their career in 2000 as a Lecturer in Technical Communications and Enviro Impact Analyses at Humboldt State University. In 2006, they worked as a Technical Writer at Stillwater Sciences, where they were responsible for scrutinizing and editing technical reports and permit applications related to dam re-licensing. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at H. T. Harvey & Associates as a Technical Writer and Marketing Communications specialist. Sheri then joined the Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District in 2010 as the President of the Board of Directors, focusing on issues such as water rights preservation and the impact of marijuana cultivation on water quality. In 2012, they became a Member of the Board of Directors at Redwood Coast Energy Authority, leading efforts to develop local renewable energy sources. Since 2014, Sheri has been working at SHN as the Director of Business Development, overseeing positioning, branding, sales, and business development efforts through coordinating and creating materials to support the company's goals.
Sheri Woo, PE, has a diverse and extensive education history. Sheri began their academic journey in 1979 at the University of California, Berkeley, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Soil Sciences. During their time at UC Berkeley, Sheri also completed two Master's degrees, one in Wildland Resources and another in Environmental Engineering.
In 2014, Sheri furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Humboldt State University. Their studies at HSU focused on Marketing and Sustainability Reporting, expanding their knowledge in these areas.
In addition to their educational achievements, Sheri Woo has obtained a certification as a Professional Engineer in California, granted by the California Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. The specific month and year of their certification are not provided.
