Bhavik Patel

Bhavik Patel has an extensive work experience in the engineering and manufacturing field. BHAVIK is currently working as the Director of Engineering, Contract Manufacturing at Shockwave Medical. Prior to this, they worked at Medtronic as a Sr. Engineering Program Manager from 2020 to 2023. BHAVIK also worked at Philips as a Sr. Manager, NPI & Operations from 2017 to 2020, where they led NPI programs and cost savings initiatives. Before that, they held roles at Medtronic as an Engineering Program Manager and Principal R&D Engineer from 2011 to 2017. BHAVIK has also worked at MANNKIND CORPORATION, Smiths Medical, and Bio Mold Inc, gaining experience as a Device Engineer, Process Development Engineer, and Process Engineer respectively. BHAVIK started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2003.

Bhavik Patel earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Plastics Engineering from L.D. College of Engineering in 2001. BHAVIK then pursued a Masters degree in Plastics Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2002 to 2003.
