Melania Rodríguez

Melania Rodríguez is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and facilities management across various companies. Currently serving as the Mfg Engineering Director at Shockwave Medical since July 2024, Rodríguez previously held senior management positions at Philips, where roles included Senior Facilities, Maintenance & Testing Manager and Senior Support Engineering Manager. Prior experience includes managerial roles at Volcano Corporation, MicroVention, DHL, Hologic, Inc., and C&K Components, with notable achievements in cost reduction, process optimization, and efficiency improvements. Rodríguez holds a Master's Degree in Project Management from ICAP and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Costa Rica UCR.
