Katie Benson

Katie Benson currently serves as a Patient Care Coordinator at Shodair since May 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant and Learning Assistant at the University of Montana from December 2020 to June 2023, where Katie developed leadership skills, positively integrated constructive feedback, and instructed peers in research methodologies. Katie's background also includes an internship at PEAS Farm and service as an Americorps Member with the SpectrUM Discovery Area from September 2016 to August 2018, overseeing science activities for youth and developing STEM educational programs. Additionally, Katie held the position of Lead Science Educator at the SpectrUM Discovery Area, assisting in event planning and team training related to STEM curriculum. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Montana and ongoing pursuit of a Master of Arts in Health Communication.
