Soumi Datta holds extensive experience in project management and strategic operations, currently serving in the Regional Ops Strategy of the Project Management Office at Shopee since June 2022. As a co-founder of Insider Gyaan, an IIT and IIM/ISB alumni initiative, Soumi facilitates mentorship and career guidance for students and emerging professionals. Prior managerial roles include positions at Mastercard Data & Services and Deloitte China, where Soumi led teams in business strategy and operations transformations across various industries. Previous experiences at Monitor Deloitte and JPMorgan Chase & Co. involved consulting on operational improvement and equity analysis. Soumi's educational background includes an MBA in Strategy & Finance from the Indian School of Business and a B.Tech in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
