Tal Montal has a strong background in data and analytics, with experience spanning over 15 years. They currently hold the position of Director of Data at Shopic, a role they began in 2022. Prior to this, from 2020 to 2022, Tal was the Head of Data at AVO.
From 2019 to 2020, Tal worked as the Head of Data & Analytics at Theranica Bio-Electronics Ltd., where they managed end-to-end big data operations for the medical start-up, including data warehouse architecture, ETL, BI, reporting, and ML algorithms. They collaborated closely with C-level executives and various teams, aggregating and processing data from external sources.

Prior to their work at SWC Consulting, from 2007 to 2015, Tal was the Head of BI at Raviv ACS LTD., where they designed and implemented a global organizational BI system. They also worked as a BI & DWH Analyst and Project Manager at Ness Technologies from 2005 to 2007, providing system analysis, modeling, and design for Business Intelligence applications and Data Warehouses.

Tal Montal earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, which they attended from 2001 to 2005. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies, also at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, from 2012 to 2015.
