Matt Colyer

Matt Colyer is an experienced product management professional currently serving as the Director of Product Management for Sidekick at Shopify since March 2023. Prior to this role, Matt held various leadership positions including Director of Product Management at Adobe from January 2022 to March 2023, and VP of Product & Design at Abstract from June 2020 until its acquisition by Adobe in January 2022. Matt also contributed to GitHub as Director of Product Management, with experience in Engineering, from November 2013 to June 2020. Previous entrepreneurial ventures include co-founding Easel, which was acquired by GitHub, and founding Mavient LLC. Matt's technical background includes roles as a Senior Developer at Typekit, acquired by Adobe, and Software Engineer at EmSense Corporation. Matt holds a degree in General Engineering with a focus on Computing from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, and has also participated in Y Combinator.
