Matt Tetkoskie

Matt Tetkoskie is a highly skilled data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Shopify since August 2022, Matt previously held roles at HERE Technologies, where responsibilities included building and scaling machine learning solutions for the HERE Places product from January 2017 to August 2022. Prior to that, at Navistar Inc. from June 2011 to December 2016, Matt created machine learning models and led a data engineering team, collaborating with IT on data integration within a Hadoop environment. Earlier in Matt's career, experience as a Sr. Product Development Engineer involved the design and release of heavy-duty engine cooling systems, along with a co-op position at Volvo Powertrain focused on powertrain performance simulations. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Predictive Analytics from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
