Michal Malecki

Michal Malecki is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and leadership. Currently serving as a Development Manager at Shopify since December 2021, Michal previously held various influential roles at Credit Suisse from June 2012 to November 2021, including Software Development Lead (Director), where leadership encompassed teams working on critical risk and pricing analytical tools. Michal also acted as the Quant Strats Technology Regional Lead, mentoring senior team leads and overseeing a team of over 20 software developers. Earlier career experience includes significant contributions at Microsoft from October 2005 to July 2012, where Michal developed key features for the Bing shopping vertical and integrated Team Foundation Server with Visual Studio. Michal began the professional journey as a Software Developer at Poznan Supercomputing Networking Center and also served as a teacher at Poznan High School of Telecommunication. Michal holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Poznan University of Technology, obtained in June 2004.
