Sherry Feng

Sherry Feng is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in leading economic initiatives within the technology and travel industries. Currently serving as the Lead Economist for Ecosystem and International at Shopify since September 2021, Sherry develops data models to influence product strategies. Prior to this role, Sherry worked at Expedia Group from March 2019 to September 2021, progressing from Senior Machine Learning Scientist to Senior Economist, focusing on offline reinforcement learning and marketing analytics. Earlier experience includes serving as the Lead Economist at vrbo, where Sherry contributed to marketplace design and virtual economy development. Sherry holds a Ph.D. in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Fudan University.
