Jan Smolarčík

Jan Smolarčík has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jan started their career as a freelancer in 2000, working as a web developer. In 2004, they joined AIESEC as an IT support specialist and worked there until 2007. In 2009, they became the owner of web4net s.r.o., a company they operated until at least 2014. Since 2014, Jan has been working at Shopsys in different positions. Initially, they served as a senior PHP programmer from December 2014 to August 2018. Then, they were promoted to the role of Lead Developer in September 2018 and is currently in that position.

Jan Smolarčík received their education at the VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Economics from 2004 to 2009. Jan earned an Ing. (engineer) degree with a specialization in Management during this period. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2004, Jan attended Střední průmyslová škola, Ostrava - Vítkovice, where they pursued studies in Výpočetní technika (Computer Science). Jan did not receive a degree in this field.
