Ritun Mubtasin Kabir

Ritun Mubtasin Kabir has a diverse range of work experience in human resources and talent acquisition. They started their career as a Human Resources Assistant at OnnoRokom Group, where they conducted interviews and exams for new employees and assisted with online marketing. They later worked as a Research Associate at Nielsen, where they conducted interviews with CFOs and served as an interpreter for foreign clients. Kabir then joined Don Sumdany Facilitation & Consultancy as a Brand Ambassador, where they created scripts for inspirational videos and performed creative writing and article translation.

In 2015, Kabir held leadership roles in various organizations, including IBA-JU Debating Club, where they served as President and organized career grooming workshops and debates. They also held leadership positions in Jahangirnagar University Career Club, where they served as Vice President and Trainer.

Kabir joined Grow N Excel as an HR Associate, where they gained experience in HR management and worked on recruitment and talent acquisition. They later transitioned to a Senior Human Resources Associate role at foodpanda, where they specialized in hiring for food delivery businesses and achieved significant reductions in recruitment time. Kabir then became a Talent Acquisition Specialist and eventually a Talent Acquisition Manager at foodpanda, effectively hiring nearly 300 white-collar employees throughout their career at the company.

Currently, Kabir holds the position of HR Business Partner (Lead Specialist) at ShopUp, where they oversee HR Business Partnering, HR Automation, Performance and Governance, and Performance Management. They have developed and executed a group-level HR strategy for ShopUp, covering multiple companies and thousands of employees. The strategy includes talent acquisition, employee retention, performance management, HR technology, and data analysis.

Ritun Mubtasin Kabir obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the Institute of Business Administration, Jahangirnagar University, from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Higher Secondary Certificate in Science from Birshrestha Noor Mohammad Rifles Public School & College from 2009 to 2011. Ritun Mubtasin'ssecondary education was in Science, where they obtained a Secondary School Certificate from Armanitola Govt. High School from 2001 to 2009. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including "Human Resources: Using Metrics to Drive HR Strategy," "People Analytics," "Administrative Human Resources," "Leading from the Middle," "Working with Difficult People," "Developing Your Emotional Intelligence," and "BYLC Youth Leadership Graduate."
