Laila Khan has extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Asset Quality Committee at Home Loan Investment Bank since April 2022, while also holding the position of Director of Credit Risk Management at ING. Previous roles include Director of Credit Analysis (Project Finance) at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Vice President of Risk Management for GE Capital’s Global Energy Portfolio, where Laila managed a global energy portfolio exceeding $550 million and played a key role in sustainable investment recovery. Laila’s career began with positions such as Financial Analyst at MBIA and Assistant Vice President at Deutsche Bank, building a strong foundation in risk management, financial analysis, and business development. Laila holds an MBA in Finance from Yale School of Management and degrees in Finance from Columbia University and Political Science and Spanish from Rutgers University.
