Jade Graddy

Jade Graddy has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Currently, they work as an Editorial Success Manager at Shorthand, where they collaborate with major brands, NGOs, and educational institutions to create top-tier storytelling experiences using Shorthand's no-code SaaS tool. Prior to this, Jade was a Senior Writer at My Next Season.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Campbell & Company as a Consultant, Communications, leading creative projects for major nonprofit fundraising campaigns. Jade also served as an Associate Consultant, Communications at the same company. Before that, Jade was a Program Assistant, managing Middle East and North Africa study abroad programs at AMIDEAST Education Abroad. Jade also gained teaching experience as an English Teaching Fellow to Jordan with The Fulbright Program.

Jade's work experience also includes internships at Amplio Network and Tomorrow's Youth Organization, and they held roles at the University of Washington and AmeriCorps as well. Overall, Jade's experience showcases their expertise in communications, project management, teaching, and community development.

Jade Graddy completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Linguistics with a minor in Human Rights at the University of Washington from 2012 to 2014. During their time at the university, they also studied abroad at the School for International Training, focusing on Human Rights and Arabic in Rabat, Morocco in 2013. Prior to their university education, Jade attended Pierce College at Puyallup, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies from 2009 to 2011.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Jade has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills. Jade completed the Podcasting: Telling Stories in Sound Certificate from Berkeley Advanced Media Institute in April 2021. In May 2020, they completed the UX/UI Design Essentials Course from Columbia College Chicago Online. Jade also holds an SEO Certification from HubSpot Academy, obtained in February 2023. Currently, they are pursuing the Certified UX Writer certification from UX Writing Hub, although the completion date is not specified.
