Morgan Ferrar has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They started their career in 2007 as a Freelance Graphic Designer, working on print and digital projects. In 2009, they became a Store Manager at Origins, a natural skincare company, managing a team and a concession at a department store. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Store Manager at Aesop, responsible for a concession at Liberty London and achieving sales targets. In 2013, they took on the role of PR Officer at Intertrade Europe UK Ltd., where they raised brand awareness through press releases and organised events. They then joined UP Public Relations (UPPR) as an Account Manager, handling luxury lifestyle brands and managing press events. In 2015, they worked as a PR and Communications Manager at Illuminum Fragrance, developing a PR strategy before their contract ended. They volunteered as a PR Consultant for Ourmala, a charity working with refugees and asylum-seekers, and implemented a PR strategy for a fundraising event. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) in various roles, starting as a Communications Officer and later becoming a PR and Media Coordinator and a Communications Coordinator. Morgan Ferrar completed a Bachelor of Arts in Languages and Cultural Studies at the Auckland Institute of Studies (AIS) from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, Morgan also obtained a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CERTTESOL) from AIS. In 2006, Morgan attended Yoobee College of Creative Innovation and earned a Diploma in Computer Graphic Design. In 2007, Morgan completed a Graduate Diploma in Digital Media at Yoobee College of Creative Innovation. Additionally, Morgan has obtained certifications such as the Customer Success Leadership Accelerator from the Customer Success Collective in May 2023 and Writing a Press Release from LinkedIn in August 2017.
