Sami AlSayyed

Sami AlSayyed began their career in 2005 as an Oracle/Java Developer with Oracle, where they completed an internship program on Oracle Products administration and development. Sami then moved to Orange in 2006 as an Applications Integration Engineer. In 2007, Sami worked as a Java Web Developer with STS and a Senior Software Engineer with Tatweer Software. In 2010, they joined Wirestorm Innovations as the Director of Technology, Software Development Manager and Web Technologist. In 2017, Sami became a 500 Startups Founder. In 2022, they founded and became the CEO of WeCourts, a mobile/web app to help padel tennis players find upcoming events in their city. Sami has also been the Founder and CEO of ShortPoint since 2015, heading 70+ employees and over 300 partners globally.

Sami AlSayyed obtained a Diploma in Management Essentials from Harvard Business School Online in September 2020. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Computer Science from Princess Sumaya University for Technology between 2002 and 2006, with a field of study in Computer Science.
