Gregory Galant began their career in 1996 as the Chairman of Halenet, Inc., a web development business they started at the age of 14 with clients including a newspaper chain, a perfume retailer, a leading French philosopher and a clinical trial company. In 2004, they interned at Newlight Associates and in 2005, they were an Associate Producer at CNN.com. Also in 2005, they were the CEO of RadioTail, providing podcast advertising technology and expertise for companies including BusinessWeek, TheStreet.com and Focus Films. Additionally, they were the host of Venture Voice, the first podcast dedicated to interviewing entrepreneurs, from 2005 to 2009. In 2008, they became the CEO and Cofounder of the Shorty Awards, which honor the best of social media by recognizing the influencers, brands and organizations on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, Instagram, Snapchat and more. Finally, in 2009, they became the CEO and Cofounder of Muck Rack, a powerful, easy-to-use PR software platform.
Gregory Galant attended Emory University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.
