Emily Stewart

Emily Stewart is currently the COO at ShotKam. Prior to their current position, Emily worked as a Social Media Analyst at The University of Alabama College of Communication and Information Sciences, where they conducted and analyzed surveys through Qualtrics and SPSS in order to determine how to best reach students and alumni through social media. Emily also created and presented a social media plan for the upcoming school year (2016-17) to be implemented by the department.

Before their time at The University of Alabama, Emily interned as a marketing intern at Johnson Marlowe LLP, where they conducted research and created marketing content to appeal to potential clients. Emily also assisted in revising the firm's official website, drafted original content for the site, provided administrative support to senior attorneys and paralegals, and transcribed client interviews.

Emily has also interned as a Public Relations Intern at both the American Red Cross of Georgia and Landmark Communications, Inc. In their role at the American Red Cross of Georgia, they were responsible for creating press releases, media lists, pitch letters, and other communications materials. At Landmark Communications, they assisted with event planning and execution, media relations, social media outreach, and writing/editing content for the company's website and blog.

Prior to their various internships, Emily worked as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator at The Strong Company, Inc. In this role, they were responsible for creating and implementing marketing plans, developing sales

Emily Stewart has a Master's Degree in Marketing from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor's Degree in English with a Political Science minor from The University of Georgia.
