Paul Belli

Paul Belli is a dedicated forensic services manager and expert witness at SoundThinking since November 2022. With an extensive background in law enforcement, Belli has served as the immediate past president of the International Homicide Investigators Association since October 2009 and has guided a board of 14 professionals serving over 1,000 global death investigators. Previous roles include public safety specialist investigative liaison at Clearview AI and law enforcement consultant at California POST. Belli's early career at the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office included various positions such as centralized investigations division assistant commander and homicide detective. Additionally, Belli has contributed to education as an instructor for officer-involved shooting investigations and has held positions with the California Police Officer Association and California POST. Belli holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Investigations from CSU Sacramento.
