Novella De Angelis has a diverse range of work experience. Novella started their career in 2016 with the role of Dance/Theater Specialist at Camp Playland of New Canaan. In 2016, they also worked as a Social Media Marketing Intern at Peridance Center. In 2017, they held multiple roles, including Theater Production Intern and Graphic Design Intern at Peridance Capezio Center, as well as Footnote Editor for Laura Ping. Novella also worked as an Assistant Technical Director at Manhattanville College during this time. In 2018, Novella joined Bentley Meeker Lighting & Staging, Inc. as a Design & Sales Coordinator. Novella worked there until 2020. In 2021, they joined Showman Fabricators as an Associate Project Management Coordinator. Most recently, in 2022, they worked as an Associate Designer and Draftsperson at L&M Sound and Light.
Novella De Angelis began their education journey in 2010 at Trumbull High School, where they completed their high school education. Concurrently, from 2010 to 2014, they also attended the Regional Center for the Arts, focusing on dance as their field of study. In 2014, they enrolled in Manhattanville College, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Dance and Communications, completing their studies in 2018. Recently, from 2020 to 2021, Novella pursued further education at CUNY New York City College of Technology, specializing in Entertainment Technology as a non-degree student.

Showman was invited to participate in and develop “Broadway Green Alliance”. We have been invited to create workshops and panels regarding the greening of our industry at nationwide conferences. Showman's environmental articles have appeared in ESTA’s quarterly protocol and Lighting & Sound magazine.
