Jason Joiner

Jason Joiner is an experienced event promoter and director with a significant background in the film and media industry. As an event promoter for the London Film and Comic Con since February 2004, Jason has contributed to one of the largest annual events in Europe, attracting over 45,000 visitors from around the globe. Jason's role as a director at Showmasters Ltd, active since 1986, involves organizing large media-related events featuring celebrities and engaging with fans. In addition, Jason serves as the director and head archivist of The Kurtz Joiner Archive, dedicated to preserving the film history of producer and director Gary Kurtz, including materials from iconic films such as Star Wars and The Dark Crystal. Previous experience includes serving as a director at Off World Effects Ltd, specializing in prop and costume manufacturing for the film industry. Jason received education at St Mary's School in Cheshunt from 1975 to 1981.
