Brendan Countee

Brendan Countee is a seasoned entertainment executive with extensive experience in comedy development and production. Since October 2016, Brendan has served as Senior Vice President at Showtime Networks Inc. after holding the position of Vice President. Prior to this role, Brendan was Head of Comedy at Hulu from November 2011 to October 2016, contributing to acclaimed projects such as the Golden Globe-nominated "CASUAL" and Emmy-nominated "BEHIND THE MASK." Brendan's career includes a significant tenure as a Writer/Producer, where half hour comedy pilots were developed for major studios, and co-founding Handsome Donkey, LLC, which created comedic streaming series. Early career roles included work at Fox Searchlight Pictures and Industry Entertainment. Brendan holds a Bachelor's degree in English with a writing concentration, Spanish, and Theater from Georgetown University, complemented by study abroad experience at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
