Whitney Beckwith

Whitney Beckwith is a seasoned professional in the television industry with a strong background in writing and storytelling. Currently serving as a Story Editor at SHOWTIME since May 2025, Whitney has built a solid career at the same network, progressing from Staff Writer (February 2024 - February 2025) to Showrunner’s Assistant & Writers’ Assistant (October 2021 - December 2023). Prior experience includes roles as a Writers’ Assistant at NBCUniversal (February 2020 - October 2021) and at Starz (February 2019 - December 2019), as well as a Writers’ PA. Whitney holds a Master of Arts in Communication Management from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from Spelman College, in addition to educational experience at the University of Amsterdam.
