David Hammitt, PE, is a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in HVAC and plumbing design. Currently at SHP Leading Design since May 2018, David specializes in documentation and construction administration, alongside calculating heating and cooling needs through energy modeling software and designing HVAC systems using Revit. Prior to this role, David worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Design Collaborative from June 2014 to May 2018, and gained initial experience as an Intern at Fosdick & Hilmer, co-authoring an Excel program for energy incentives. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
