Marcus Norman, CISSP, CISM has over 20 years of work experience in the field of cyber security. Marcus began their career in 1999 as a Database Manager and Network Administrator for the United States Navy. In 2008, they moved to the US Navy as an Electronic Key Manager. In 2009, they held two positions simultaneously, Senior System Administrator for Experts Information System and Senior Information Assurance Security Engineer, Lead for Nova Datacom LLC. In 2010, they became a Senior Information System Security Engineer for Clovis. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Network Operation Security Manager for SRA. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Cyber Security Program Manager, C&A Program Manager, and Network Security Operation Manager and Liaison for NetCentrics Corporation. Since 2017, they have been a Cyber Security Strategic Engineer for SHR Consulting Group.

Marcus Norman, CISSP, CISM holds a Master of Science (MS) in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism from Strayer University, obtained in 2016. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) Information System in Cyber Security Project Management from Strayer University in 2015. Marcus also holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Security Administration from Strayer University, obtained in 2012. Additionally, they hold an Associate in General Studies from Columbia College, obtained in 2010. Theireducational background is further supplemented by several certifications, including McAfee Security ePO, ITIL-F, Network +, Security +, MCSA, MCSA + Messaging, MCP, CISM, CISSP, SSCP, CAP, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control, CEH, EcCouncil Certified Network Defense Architect, EcCouncil Certified Security Analyst (ECSA), and McAfee HIPS.
