Senior Application Engineer at Shrieve Chemical

Manuel Muñoz Alonso has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Manuel started their career as a Second Lieutenant in the Spanish Army, serving for six months in an operational unit. After that, they worked as a Technical Director at Kimikal - Grupo Gazechim, where they were responsible for managing the distribution of DuPont refrigerant gases and providing technical advice to clients.

Muñoz Alonso then ventured into entrepreneurship and became the Responsible Delegate at Hiperclima Granada, where they successfully established a new office for an installation company specializing in domestic, residential, and industrial air conditioning.

Manuel later joined Ferroser as a Maintenance Engineer, taking charge of a complex with 2500 employees and overseeing various maintenance tasks, including water supply, heating, refrigeration, and door systems.

At Enerwind, Muñoz Alonso worked as a Biodiesel Engineer, contributing to the design and construction of three biodiesel plants in Spain. This project involved a total production capacity of 400,000 tons per year.

Most recently, Muñoz Alonso served as a Senior Application Engineer at Shrieve, a lubricant manufacturer known for its synthetic refrigeration lubricants. In this role, they focused on introducing lubrication enhancement additives to improve equipment performance and energy efficiency.

Throughout their career, Muñoz Alonso has developed strong technical expertise and demonstrated their ability to take on diverse responsibilities in different industries.

Manuel Muñoz Alonso's education history includes two main academic pursuits. In 1984, they enrolled at the Universidad de Granada, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Chemistry. Manuel completed their studies in this field in 1989, obtaining a Licenciado en Ciencias Químicas.

After a gap of more than a decade, Manuel engaged in further education in 2001. Manuel attended the IESE Business School for a brief period, participating in the Programa de Desarrollo Directivo (Management Development Program), also known as PDD. This program, tailored towards improving managerial skills, offered Manuel the opportunity to enhance their understanding of business and management principles.
