Scott Spillars has extensive work experience in supply chain, operations, and business development. Scott currently holds the position of Senior Director Supply Chain & Operations at Shrieve, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Development & Key Account Manager at Kemira from July 2022 to March 2023.

From 2017 to 2021, Scott held the role of Vice President - Supply Chain, Logistics & Sales at Hi-Crush. In this position, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain, logistics, customer service, and sales. Their responsibilities included managing rail freight spend, contracts, and negotiations, achieving budgeted sales volumes, ensuring product flow and inventory alignment, and leading the customer service team.

Before joining Hi-Crush, Scott worked at Kemira as a Sr. Product Line Manager from 2015 to 2017. Scott successfully managed a $150MM+ product line, achieving gross margin and EBITDA targets. Their responsibilities included operational alignment, demand planning, order management, inventory management, and new product introductions.

Scott's earlier experience includes roles at Hexion Inc., where they held positions such as Director - Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Technology, Technology Director, Technology Manager, Technical Service Manager, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and Technical Development Specialist. In these roles, they had responsibilities such as overseeing manufacturing operations, driving process improvement initiatives, managing R&D efforts, and ensuring product quality.

Throughout their career, Scott has demonstrated expertise in supply chain management, operations, business development, and continuous improvement.

Scott Spillars attended Alcorn State University from 2002 to 2006 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Six Sigma Green Belt in October 2007, a Six Sigma Black Belt in September 2009, and a Six Sigma Lean certification from Hexion Inc. in June 2010.
