Gowri Shankar has worked at Shriram Automall since 2022 as a State Business Head. Prior to this role, they were a Regional Product Manager at Shriram Automall from 2011 to 2017. Before joining Shriram Automall, they worked at Shriram Transport Finance Company Limited as a Branch Head from 2003 to 2011.

Gowri Shankar completed their Intermediate education in Business/Commerce, General at Govt junior college in Kurnool from 1992 to 1994. Gowri then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in B com at Govt degree college for men in Kurnool, graduating in 1997.
