Roland Meier

Roland Meier has extensive work experience in the professional services and customer support field. Roland is currently the Vice President of Professional Services and Customer Support at SHS Viveon, a position they assumed in January 2022. Prior to this, Roland worked at OpenText for over two decades, holding various roles within the professional services department. Their most recent role at OpenText was as the Director of Professional Services EMEA Architecture from October 2016 to January 2022. Before that, they served as the Senior Manager of Professional Services CE from October 2013 to September 2016 and as the Manager of Global Services CE from January 2008 to September 2013. Roland also worked as a Senior Consultant from October 2004 to December 2007, a Consultant from November 2000 to September 2004, and a Software Engineer from September 1998 to October 2000.

Roland Meier obtained a Diplom degree in Chemistry from the University of Regensburg, which spanned from 1989 to 1994. Subsequently, they pursued a Ph.D. in Chemistry, specializing in their doctoral thesis, and completed it in 1998 at the University of Regensburg.
