Kevin Foy

Kevin Foy has a strong background in UX design and has worked in various roles throughout their career. Starting in 1995, they worked as a Photojournalist at WWMT-TV, operating cameras and editing news broadcasts. From 1997 to 2001, they transitioned to WLAJ-TV, where they served as a Producer/Director, creating commercials and promotional ad campaigns. In 2003, Kevin worked as a Web Designer at DePaul University before joining Transcend Innovation Group in 2007 as a Creative Director. In 2004, they joined Motorola as a UX Designer, eventually becoming a Senior UX Designer and later a Design Lead. Throughout their time at Motorola, Kevin played a significant role in developing and shipping Android applications on millions of devices. Their responsibilities included mentoring other designers, developing design processes, and ensuring consistency across applications. In 2018, Kevin joined Shure Incorporated as a Principal UX Designer, where they have been responsible for designing software experiences and improving design processes.

Kevin Foy completed their BA in Telecommunication at Michigan State University from 1991 to 1995. Kevin later pursued their MS in Human Computer Interaction at DePaul University from 2001 to 2004. In 2014, Kevin attended Scrum Training, although no degree or field of study is specified for this program. Kevin also took a photography class in 1997, but there is no information on the degree or field of study for this course.
