Duncan Bell

Duncan Bell has extensive work experience in the travel and self-storage industries. Duncan started their career at Trailfinders in 1992, working as a Sales Consultant/Supervisor before eventually becoming a General Manager in Glasgow from 1996 to 1999, and then in London City from 1999 to 2006.

In 2006, Bell joined Travelbag as a Sales Director, and in 2008, they became the Head of Travelbag at Stella Travel Group/Travelscene American Express. At Travelbag, their responsibilities included managing a multi-site sales team, P&L responsibility of the business, and setting and implementing business growth strategies.

Currently, Bell is employed at Shurgard Self Storage. Duncan joined the company in 2009 as a Market Manager and later served as the Vice President of Operations from 2014 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer.

Duncan Bell earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors degree in Economics and History from The University of Sheffield, completing their studies from 1981 to 1984.
