Ed Vargas has extensive work experience in the chemical industry. Ed started their career at Exxon Chemical Company as a Research Engineer, specializing in polyethylene and polypropylene. Ed then moved to Equistar Chemicals, where they held various roles including Research Specialist, Section Leader, and Research Manager. Ed was also responsible for operations management and led functions for polyethylene catalyst, process, and product development. Ed later joined Applied Technology Solutions as a Director before becoming President of the Product Development and Management Association - Cincinnati Chapter. Currently, Ed Vargas serves as the Vice President of Product Development & Innovation at Shurtape Technologies, LLC.
Ed Vargas has a diverse education history, starting with their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston. Ed further pursued their studies and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
